Who can join GXA, and how do you verify members?
GXA is built for Generation X — generally those born between 1965 and 1980. When you sign up, we ask you to introduce yourself with a short GenX story or detail (favorite throwback, childhood memory, etc.) so the community knows you’re one of us. Our team and moderators also keep an eye out during onboarding to ensure members fit the vibe. This isn’t about gatekeeping — it’s about protecting the culture and making sure everyone here really gets GenX.
Is it safe and private?
Yes—100% private community. No data selling. Ever. You control what you share. Request deletion any time.
Are there algorithms?
None. No secret sauce deciding who matters. Everyone is seen and heard. No follower counts. No like tallies. No popularity contests.
So… no selling at all?
No pitches in the main spaces. We do support GenX businesses—via opt-in directories, spotlight days, and collab threads. Help each other win without turning the feed into a marketplace.
How is moderation handled?
We police our own. No shadow banning, no arbitrary nukes. Clear community standards + transparent, member-driven decisions for bad actors.
Can I change plans, or stack more than one path?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or stack plans — e.g. be both Premium and support Impact Partners. The badges you earn stack up, and you maintain flexibility to adjust your support when it works best for you.
What do I lose if I stay on the Legacy (Free) plan?
Free members can still join, post, connect, and share. But they don’t have the voting power, access to Premium-spaces or mastermind rooms, discounts, or visibility perks. If you ever want them, you can upgrade.
If I’m a Premium member, do I also get all Impact Partner benefits, or are they separate?
Premium gives certain perks; Impact Partner gives you donor badges etc.
They’re separate plans + functions; you can stack if desired, but they serve different purposes.

Naturally, as we’ve grown, there have been questions about why we chose Mighty Networks as our current platform — and even a few assumptions that deserve clarity. So let’s talk about it.
Why We Chose Mighty Networks
When we set out to build GXA, we had two options:
- Spend hundreds of thousands of dollars developing a fully custom stand-alone app from scratch.
- Launch on an existing platform that gives us the infrastructure, tools, and flexibility we need right now.
We chose option #2 — not because it’s easier, but because it’s smarter.
Mighty Networks allows us to:
- Move fast → We launched GXA in months, not years.
- Focus on the mission → Less time coding, more time building community.
- Keep costs low → Hosting, security, and infrastructure are already built-in.
- Empower members → Groups, events, chat, courses, and affiliate tools are ready from day one.
In other words, it lets us focus on YOU and the mission, instead of reinventing the wheel.

A: For every active referral, you get 50% of their membership fee — as long as they stay a member. The more you share, the more you earn.
Q: When and how do I get paid?
A: Payments are handled automatically through Rewardful and sent directly to the payout method you set up. Payout schedules are shown in your affiliate dashboard.
Q: Do I have to pay extra to join the affiliate program?
